We are a community proclaiming the Gospel in the tradition of the Roman Catholic Church - encountering Christ and empowered to bring Him to the world.
Extraordinary ministers share the Eucharist with other worshipers in the assembly and with those who are confined to their homes, hospitals or institutions. This is an opportunity to respond to our Baptismal call to serve God's people in special way. Extraordinary Ministers of Eucharist (also called EME's) are approved by the pastor and mandated by the Bishop to serve in our parish. Formal training is provided.
EME's are scheduled to serve every other week on a rotating Mass assignment.
