As Catholics we continually need to learn about our God and how to live our lives as disciples of Christ. Our parish offers opportunities for all Catholics from young to elderly to continue to learn about "Being Catholic". Use the following links to find more information about these educational services offered by our parish:

• Catholic School and Pre-School - For over fifty years, Saint John Vianney School has been living the mission of the Church by providing the families of the parish and local community with a faith-filled, quality education for their children. High standards, strong motivation, effective discipline, and an atmosphere of caring combine to ensure each child's success academically, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and socially.Our school provides an environment where children learn to understand their faith and their responsibilities by preparing them to become active, moral adults living Christ's message and sharing the Gospel values.
• Religious Education to public school children - Religious catechetical instructions for elementary age students who do not attend Catholic School. Includes preparation for First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Classes are Monday & Thursday evenings in the school. Teachers and aides are always needed.
• Adult Faith Education - Various Programs are provided throughout the year for the spiritual and personal development of our parish membership. Topic suggestions and facilitators are welcome. Programs are announced in bulletin.
• Pre-Baptism Classes - All parents and godparents are REQUIRED to attend sessions on the Rite of Baptism and the meaning of the Sacrament as well as its implications for parents and godparents. See the bulletin for meeting date and time.
• Marriage Preparation Classes
  • Pre-Cana Session - All engaged couple who will be married in our parish are required to attend this marriage preparation sessions. Topics are presented by Team Couples and include Communications, Sexuality, Spirituality, Family Life, etc. Two sessions are provided during the year. Call the rectory for information.
  • FOCCUS - FOCCUS is a pre-marital inventory designed to help the engaged couple learn more about themselves and their unique relationship. Sessions are arranged as part of marriage preparation activities. FOCCUS is REQUIRED for all couple who will be married in our parish.
